    Hi,

It is very amazing thing that you are trying both things together as it is very difficult to do so. Now some things to kept in mind in order to clear the UPSC in first attempt, you need to focus on some points given below :

-The first and foremost thing you should have a sufficient time. For this start preparing 1-2 years before if you are studying 2 things side by side.
-Try to make a perfect time table between your both studies
-Try to use time in a effective manner and divide the time slots such that no study will get effected.
-Make precise notes for IAS in order to start immediately before you get messed and think on the situation that what to do what to not.
-One more important thing is the strategy of the IAS Exam preparation that which subject is important and which subject is to study first etc.
-At the time of exam try to focus first on simple questions and than the tough ones.
-Incase you want you can also join some coaching institutes with weekend classes so that you will get fixed time to study for your IAS exam.
Here is the list of some reputed institutes who make you perfect for clearing the IAS Exam in first attempt:
    1. Vajiram and Ravi IAS Study Center
    2. Raju’s IAS Study Circle
    3. Chanakya IAS Academy – UPSC civil services
    4. Delhi IAS Study Circle for civil services
    5. Sachdeva New PT College – IAS and Civil Services Exams
